Rumored Lineup For WWE Money In The Bank

TJR Wrestling

World Wrestling Entertainment’s next pay-per-view will be Money in the Bank on June 19 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The rumored card for the event, according to Dave Meltzer’s latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, is as follows:

Please note that (c) refers to the champion/s heading into the match.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins

John Cena vs. AJ Styles

Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho vs. Cesaro vs. Alberto Del Rio (Only six-men are planned to be in this match now, but plans can always change.)

WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs. Gallows & Anderson (or possibly three-way or four-way tag match including The Usos and The Vaudevillains considering they both teams were involved in angles this week.)

WWE United States Championship: Rusev (c) w/Lana vs. Titus O’Neil

Charlotte & Dana Brooke vs. Natalya & Becky Lynch

Sheamus vs. Apollo Crews

Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin

The Golden Truth (Goldust & R-Truth) vs. Breezeango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango)

As of right now, Reigns vs. Rollins and the Money in the Bank ladder match are the only two matches that have been confirmed.

Mark’s reaction: The first four matches listed above are the most interesting to me on the card, which I think is enough. I expect all four matches to get a good amount of time as well. If those four matches succeed I’ll be satisfied with this year’s Money in the Bank.

The others I don’t really care too much about, but the good thing is that at least one of those matches will be on the Kickoff Show. I’m pretty surprised this Ziggler/Corbin feud is still going on. I guess it’s just a case of not knowing what to do with either man, so they figured they’ll keep it going between the two of them until something comes up (which is the case for most Ziggler feuds; e.g. Ziggler and Rusev).
