Ronda Rousey Mocks WWE Star Becky Lynch After Massive Statement
Ronda Rousey took a cheeky dig at Becky Lynch while reacting to Lynch’s recent statement about her.
Ronda Rousey was in a memorable feud with Becky Lynch during her time in the WWE back in 2018-2019. During one of their altercations, Lynch was busted open by Rousey as well. The intriguing feud also led to the first-ever WrestleMania main event featuring women only, as Becky defeated Ronda and Charlotte Flair to become double champion at Mania 35.
Apart from their WWE feud from years ago, there seems to be no love lost between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey in real life as well. In an interview two years ago, Becky claimed that Ronda couldn’t wrestle and nobody was setting her up to fail in the Stamford-based promotion:
I don’t think anybody was trying to make anybody fail. Nobody’s trying to make anybody fail. I think when you love this, you look to try and make it better. How can I make this better? She was coming from a different industry. She was a star. She should have been handled differently in terms of I think she had such a great first outing that everybody thought she can wrestle. I mean this with respect but she couldn’t wrestle.”

Speaking on What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon recently, Becky Lynch recalled how she thought about heading into MMA after getting beaten up badly by Ronda Rousey during their feud, but that thought lasted only a week:
Wrestling her (Ronda Rousey), there was one time when she beat me up and I remember thinking — not because I could fight back, but I was like, ‘Ah, I can take a beating. Maybe I could go into MMA. I think I can take it.’ But then, that lasted one week,” Lynch revealed. [H/T

Ronda Rousey took notice of Lynch’s above statement and reacted by commenting on an instagram post by mocking Lynch, saying she was very nice to her:
Lmao what she doesn’t realize is that I was very very nice to her 😂”
It will be interesting to see if Becky Lynch will also react to Ronda Rousey’s shot at her.
