Roman Reigns Drops Important Message Ahead Of WWE WrestleMania
Roman Reigns won this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble and picked CM Punk to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE WrestleMania 42.
On the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw before the Showcase of Immortals, The OTC had an in-ring segment where he had a confrontation with his WrestleMania opponent. The two men came face-to-face in the main event after Roman had asked Punk to speak the truth in a promo message earlier in the show.
In response, Punk promised to speak the truth and then admitted that he hated Roman Reigns because he is envious of the Tribal Chief for being born into a royal wrestling family, unlike him.
A few weeks ago, CM Punk used Roman’s father, Sika’s name, to insult his rival. Punk issued a sincere apology for invoking his father’s name in vain. That was their last interaction before their clash at Mania.
Roman Reigns Is Getting Ready For His Battle Against CM Punk
Following Raw, Roman Reigns went on his Instagram account to share his preparation for his upcoming match against the Second City Saint. Reigns posted a video of himself working out in the gym with a caption reading:
“Hard Work Is Measured In Progress. It Never Lies. Success Will Always Leave Clues. #WrestleMania”

Ahead of WrestleMania, Roman Reigns also spoke to watch expert and enthusiast Nico Leonard, where he was asked to comment on his potential retirement plans.
Reigns made it very clear that he is not looking to retire anytime soon because he feels like he is in an excellent state creatively and financially in WWE right now. So, leaving at this point does not make sense for him.
“There is still a little more juice to squeeze. Almost there, but not quite. I still feel like I have a lot to offer. I’m 40 years young. With everything that we have within sports science, nutrition, all the information we have, careers have been extended.
We also get to a point where you grind it out early in your career, and then once you get towards the back end, that equity kicks in, and then you get into a different ballpark as far as finances. I’m not going to leave the park now.
If the ATM machine is broken, you’re not going to run away from it. You’re going to keep collecting that money. I still feel like, creatively, there is so much left for me to do, and there is still a great deal of earning for me to take advantage of.”
