Roman Reigns’ WWE Return Confirmed
Roman Reigns is back. Or at least he will be soon.
WWE has announced that Roman Reigns will be back on SmackDown before the end of the year. In a post on social media, WWE confirmed that the Tribal Chief will be back on screens on December 15th when the blue brand comes live from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The star will also be at the SmackDown tapings on January 5th and January 19th.
Reigns hasn’t featured for WWE since defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against LA Knight at Crown Jewel on November 4th. Reigns has only wrestled 11 times in 2023 and looks unlikely to add to that tally before the year is out. Only seven of those matches have been televised.
Who Will Roman Reigns Face At The Royal Rumble?
It’s been reported that the dominant champion will be back in action at the Royal Rumble, but not against one recent opponent. According to the most recent update on his schedule, Roman Reigns won’t face LA Knight at the Rumble, as Triple H has “another plan” for his top star.
Reigns’ part-time schedule looks to continue into 2024.
Following the news that WWE will be heading to Germany in August, Roman Reigns isn’t advertised for the event. While there’s plenty of time between now and the Bash In Berlin, Reigns isn’t featured on posters for the show.
