Roman Reigns has issued a reaction to his next major title defense coming up at WWE Crown Jewel.
For the past 1100+ days, Roman Reigns has held the WWE Universal Championship. He’s also been the WWE Champion for about a year and a half. Earlier this year, WWE combined those two titles into just one golden Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
This year, Reigns has defended the title less often than he did last year. In fact, he’s only had one televised title defense in the past six months. That last title defense was at SummerSlam when he defeated his cousin Jey Uso thanks to Jimmy Uso interfering to cost his win brother the match.
Prior to his return on WWE Smackdown last week, Reigns was off television for the past two months. While Reigns was gone, LA Knight was improving his resume by winning matches, including a tag team match with John Cena at Fastlane when they defeated Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa.
All of that led to Smackdown with Knight telling Reigns he was coming for him. Reigns said that he gave Knight a couple of months and “they say your name now.” While Knight tried to make the point that he was a worthy challenger, Reigns seemed to dismiss him.
In the main event of Smackdown, Knight beat Solo Sikoa in a match that saw John Cena help Knight because Jimmy Uso tried to help his brother Solo. Knight hit the BFT on Solo for the pinfall win. After the match, Reigns hit Knight with a Spear to remind the “Megastar” that Reigns is still the top star in WWE.
Roman Reigns reacts to Crown Jewel match against LA Knight
Earlier on Friday, WWE announced that Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight at Crown Jewel on Saturday, November 4th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
On X/Twitter, Roman Reigns reacted with this simple statement about the match.

It sounds like Roman Reigns is saying that because LA Knight gets to face the Tribal Chief at Crown Jewel, now it’s okay for Knight to call himself the “Megastar” like he loves to do.
