Roman Reigns Takes Brutal Dig At AEW Before WWE WrestleMania

Roman Reigns is the face of WWE, and he always upholds the company’s prestige during podcasts and interviews.

The OTC’s career was made in WWE. Whether it was as a member of The Shield or The Tribal Chief of The Bloodline, Reigns’ rise in the industry has been phenomenal.

Today, WWE is a giant in the industry, and it is difficult for other promotions to come close to it’s vastness. Roman Reigns echoed the emotions during a recent interview.

Roman Reigns takes a shot at AEW

Ahead of WrestleMania 42, The OTC spoke with Nico Leonard. During the conversation, Reigns claimed that WWE does not have a true competitor. He claimed that there are other promotions and places where pro-wrestlers could work, but to be in the top show, one would have to work with WWE.

There’s no true competition for us. There’s other, you know, promotions, there’s other places to work in wrestling, but if you want to be in the top show, if you want to be considered at the very tippy top of the mountain, you have to be in WWE.

The fact that CM Punk and Cody Rhodes returned to WWE after working with AEW helps in supporting Roman Reigns’ claim about WWE being the giant in the industry and being untouchable.
