Roman Reigns Heading Overseas For WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns press conference

Roman Reigns is making a rare trip overseas as WWE has announced him for the company’s two upcoming SmackDown shows in Europe.

WWE is heading to Europe on the road to WrestleMania with two SmackDown shows set to take place on the continent. March 21 will see SmackDown taped in Bologna, Italy while the following week’s show will take place in London, England.

On social media, WWE announced that Roman Reigns will be part of those shows where his own path to WrestleMania 41 might become clearer.

Roman Reigns’ First Time In Italy In 7 Years

The last time Roman Reigns competed in Italy was back in 2018 as part of a live event where he teamed with Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman to defeat Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Samoa Joe. His last appearance in Bologna came a year before where he defeated Strowman in a street fight.

Reigns has been in action in London, England more recently as the Tribal Chief teamed with Solo Sikoa to face The Usos at Money In The Bank in 2023.

Roman Reigns was part of the 2025 Royal Rumble as he sought to book a world title match at WrestleMania 41. Jey Uso won the Rumble and has called his shot against Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns’ match on the grandest stage of them all currently remains unknown.
