Roman Reigns Makes Huge Non-WWE Appearance; Fires Shots At CM Punk

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns scored yet another verbal uppercut on CM Punk.

The OTC is heading to WrestleMania 42 to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship held by the Second City Saint. This has revived the hatred and animosity both wrestlers have held against each other for over a decade, making things instantly personal between them. While the OG Bloodline leader has already humiliated Punk in the squared circle, he has now thrown more flak on him at a non-WWE show.

Roman Reigns Publicly Calls Out CM Punk

The 2026 Royal Rumble winner was invited to The Tonight Show hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Sending a message to the World Heavyweight Champion, Reigns attacked Punk’s age again and also said that the reason he is getting invited to big shows while he is not is the difference between their stardom.

“Phil, most likely you’re asleep right now, so. And as you should be, you should be resting up because you need it, and you’re probably a little confused at your old age, and you’re probably wondering, like, ‘Why is Roman there, and I’m here at home?’ That’s because I’m a way bigger star than you.”

While CM Punk believes that he is the man winning the mind games, Roman Reigns has held the upper hand in their verbal exchanges so far. The OTC asked Punk to gather new material if he wants to faze him, saying that top-dollar players don’t need to wrestle full-time, pointing out that even Punk’s wife, AJ Lee, knows that.

This week’s RAW episode saw the Head of the Table attacking Punk, but only after he riled up Jey Uso, the weakest emotional link of the OG Bloodline, and not Reigns himself. It would be interesting to see who exits Las Vegas with the World Heavyweight Championship.
