Huge Shock! Roman Reigns May Look To Get Top Star Fired From WWE

Roman Reigns is not happy with a WWE star and may want to get him fired from the company.

This past weekend, on May 9, the Tribal Chief put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Jacob Fatu in a singles match at WWE Backlash. Reigns managed to retain his title, but was brutally attacked by Fatu after the match.

Jacob Fatu repeatedly locked Reigns in a deadly grip, leaving him laid out in the ring and foaming at the mouth. After recovering from the assault, Cathy Kelley interviewed Reigns backstage, where he threatened to have Fatu kicked out of WWE for humiliating him.

Roman Reigns And Jacob Fatu Reportedly Set To Continue Their Rivalry With A New Angle

Commenting on the angle, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE could turn this into a firing storyline, where Reigns uses his power and influence to try to get Fatu released(kayfabe). Meltzer added that this potential angle could begin as early as this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Not a lot coming out of Backlash, although the post-match made it appear that Roman Reigns would be doing something to try and get Jacob Fatu out of WWE starting on tomorrow’s Raw.”

Ahead of Monday Night Raw, Adam Pearce took to social media to share a preview of tonight’s episode. He announced that Roman Reigns will have an acknowledgment ceremony on the show, with Jacob Fatu also set to be part of the segment.

Pearce also confirmed that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella and Paige, will return to answer The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxxane Perez. In addition, Oba Femi will continue his open challenge, while Joe Hendry teams up with The Street Profits to face The Vision in a six-man tag team match.
