Roman Reigns Passes Another Huge WWE Milestone

Roman Reigns

The legacy of Roman Reigns continues to grow day by day as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion surpasses another huge milestone in his career.

At Crown Jewel, Reigns headlined the show by defending his championship against social media star Logan Paul. The Bloodline found themselves involved in the bout, as did Jake Paul, but one Spear was enough for The Tribal Chief to put Paul away and continue his lengthy title reign.

It was noted on the premium live event on the 5th of November that Roman Reigns had been Universal Champion for 797 days so now the man who sits at The Head of the Table has passed 800 days as champion.

Reigns has held that championship since Payback on the 30th of August 2020 when he defeated Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt in a Triple Threat match. Both of Reigns’ opponents on that night have been both fired and re-hired during his reign.

Roman Reigns added the WWE Championship crown at WrestleMania 38 when he defeated Brock Lesnar in a ‘Winner Take All’ match with both titles on the line.

Reigns’ title reign is the sixth-longest world championship reign of any kind in WWE history. Only Pedro Morales, Bob Backlund, Hulk Hogan, and Bruno Sammartino have held a world title for longer with all five of those legends holding the WWE Championship for over 1,000 days – Sammartino’s first reign stretched to 2,803 days which remains by far the longest in company history.
