Rhea Ripley’s new Valentine has had to apologize to this WWE star.

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY (dubbed RHIYO) are the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Their friendship began last year after SKY chose their rival Ripley over Asuka and Kairi Sane of The Kabuki Warriors, who were like family to her.

RHIYO and then Tag Team Champions, The Kabuki Warriors, would go on to feud for months until RHIYO finally defeated them to become new Women’s Tag Team Champions on this year’s Netflix Anniversary special episode of Raw.

Their friendship has developed a lot over the past few months. On Valentine’s Day last week, Ripley got on her knees to hand her partner a bouquet during a WWE live event.

This did not sit well with Rhea Ripley’s ex, Cathy Kelley, who was seen posting sarcastic comments on social media.

IYO SKY Apologizes To Rhea Ripley’s Ex Cathy Kelley

Kelley shared a lighthearted video on her page in collaboration with Rhea and IYO, where SKY is sporting a RHIYO t-shirt, and Kelley is seen crying over her lost love and pushing SKY out of the frame to the soundtrack ‘ I Love Rock n’ Roll’ by Joan Jett.

IYO SKY’s apology can be seen in the comments section, where she writes:

I’m sorry Cathy🤭

Although RHIYO is at the top of the Women’s Tag Team Division, they both have a shot at going to WrestleMania as individuals.

Ripley has already qualified for the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, and SKY will have her shot in a qualifying match next week.

The winner of the Chamber match will get a title shot at WrestleMania.
