Why Rhea Ripley Is Upset Despite Punching Her Ticket to WrestleMania Title Match

Rhea Ripley WWE

Rhea Ripley won this year’s Women’s Elimination Chamber match by defeating Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James, and Raquel Rodriguez.

The Eradicator is now set to challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42. It was a big night for Ripley as she earned the championship opportunity. However, there was something that bothered her.

Following her Elimination Chamber victory, Ripley appeared on the post-show panel to discuss her upcoming WrestleMania match. While she expressed excitement about punching her ticket to WrestleMania, she also revealed that she was upset that Iyo Sky would not be by her side.

Rhea Ripley Was Planning To Walk Into WrestleMania With Iyo Sky

Initially, Ripley and Iyo Sky had planned to walk into WrestleMania together as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, they lost the titles to Nia Jax and Lash Legend on the go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown ahead of Elimination Chamber.

I’m real, real upset that I won’t be able to walk into WrestleMania with Iyo by my side. That’s what I was planning this whole time. We had started talking about gear. We had started talking about everything: what we wanted to do, what we wanted to accomplish, and who we would potentially get into the ring with.

Rhea Ripley added that although Iyo Sky is not yet on the WrestleMania match card, she is confident that her tag team partner will find a way to punch her ticket to WrestleMania as well.

But Mami is always up for any challenge, and I know Iyo is too. She’s not going to get left behind. She’s gonna find something, she’s gonna find her way onto that card, and she’s gonna do everything she can to remind everyone who the hell she is as well.
