Rhea Ripley Reunites With Ex-Partner In WWE
Ever since losing the WWE Women’s World Championship to IYO SKY just weeks before WrestleMania 41, Rhea Ripley had largely stayed away from singles action after multiple World Title reigns.
She ultimately returned to singles action earlier this year, as she won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match to challenge Jade Cargill for her WWE Women’s Championship. However, this meant that The Eradicator had to move to SmackDown.
Following her switch to the blue brand, Ripley went on to become the WWE Women’s Champion after defeating Cargill at WrestleMania 42. The former AEW star didn’t stop there, though, and came back for her title after a short hiatus.
The two women faced each other once again at Clash in Italy this past weekend, where Ripley managed to beat her again, after receiving some help from her foe-turned-friend, Charlotte Flair.

Although she was the only one who came out to the ring, Flair wasn’t the only friend Ripley had in her corner at the Premium Live Event. After her victory over Cargill, Rhea was reunited backstage with her former tag team partner, IYO SKY.
Affectionately known as Rhiyo by the WWE Universe, the duo spent the majority of the last year teaming together in tag team action. They even went on to become the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Together with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, Rhiyo was key in boosting the often floundering women’s tag team division. However, following Ripley’s move to SmackDown, the popular tag team was forced to break up.
Their reunion in Italy brought a lot of joy to the entire WWE Universe as the duo was seen hitting the Japanese star’s iconic pose. The backstage interaction was posted on the promotion’s social media handles, and the fans were clamouring for an on-screen reunion.
