Rhea Ripley Reacts To Dominik Mysterio’s Title Win

Dominik Mysterio Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley stands by her man after his title win.

At No Mercy, Dominik Mysterio and Trick Williams clashed for Mysterio’s North American Title with Dragon Lee acting as special referee which could have given the challenger the advantage given the ill-feeling between Lee and Mysterio. At one point Mysterio aimed a super kick at his opponent only to take out Lee instead.

Another referee entered the fray but also ended up getting taken out which left Mysterio trying to use his title belt to gain the upper hand. However, Williams hit him with a knee strike with Lee regaining his senses long enough to count the pinfall.

On Raw in San Jose, California The Judgment Day – minus Finn Balor – met in the ring and there were some issues to air. Ripley chastised Damian Priest over recent problems in the group but he noted he still had his title and his Money In The Bank contract while Mysterio had lost his gold.

Rhea Ripley turned her attention to Mysterio and informed him that she had managed to get him a rematch against Williams for the title on the 3rd of October edition of NXT and if he didn’t come home with the gold, he shouldn’t come home at all.

Rhea Ripley celebrates Dom Dom’s success

On NXT television Mysterio took on Williams once again and this time, with more than a little help from The Judgment Day who prowled ringside, Mysterio picked up the win and won back the NXT North American Title.

Taking to social media, Rhea Ripley celebrated Mysterio’s success and it means he presumably will be allowed to return home now that he has his gold back:

My MAN!!! And NEW North American Champion @DomMysterio35!! #WWENXT

Recent reports have suggested that Trick Williams was never originally set to win the title with Mustafa Ali planned to win the gold against Mysterio before he was released from the company.
