Raquel Rodriguez Set For Comeback To NXT
Another WWE Superstar is returning to NXT: Raquel Rodriguez.
Last Tuesday on NXT, Roxanne Perez stated that she was going to show up on WWE Smackdown to find an opponent to square off against Cora Jade this week in 2.0. When Friday arrived, Perez would indeed make an appearance.
Perez was speaking with Shotzi backstage when Raquel Rodriguez would walk up to them. Quickly, Perez questioned Rodriguez on whether or not she would be interested in wrestling against Jade on NXT. Rodriguez accepted Perez’s offer, but it came along with some heat from Bayley.
Bayley interrupted the conversation between Perez, Rodriguez and Shotzi due to being offended at not being asked by Perez to fight Jade, which led to Bayley threatening Perez that she was going to smash her later in the night.

When that time came, it would be a trios tag team bout with one side being Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi taking on Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY). Getting the victory would be Damage CTRL, with Bayley delivering her promise to Perez, getting a 1-2-3 pinfall on her to give her faction the victory.
Now that Roxanne Perez has Raquel Rodriguez in her corner, it’s now Cora Jade’s turn to make her pick for an opponent to take on Perez. This Monday night on WWE Raw, Jade will be making an appearance to do just that.
