SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis made a huge announcement regarding the Undisputed WWE Championship during last week’s episode of SmackDown.

He revealed four mouth-watering clashes for tonight, the winners of which will face each other in a fatal-four-way at next week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, to determine who will challenge Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble 2026.

The first match of the night saw Randy Orton take on The Miz after the A-Lister jumped Orton from behind and hit him with a Skull Crushing Finale before the match began.

The Miz managed to gain some advantage during the initial stages of the match, but the Viper quickly turned the tide in his favor. He proceeded to deal some serious damage to Miz, hitting him with three successive backdrops on the announce table.

He hit a Spike DDT on Miz but was met with another Skull Crushing Finale, and managed to kick out of the move. The Miz looked to take the fight to Orton, but was met with an RKO from nowhere, which handed Randy the win.
