After Seth Rollins interfered in the match and took out Logan Paul, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton eliminated The Maverick. Following that, The Apex Predator took down The American Nightmare.

On SmackDown, The American Nightmare dethroned Drew McIntyre after Jacob Fatu interfered.

As the winner of the Elimination Chamber men’s match, Randy Orton was supposed to face Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42. However, The Apex Predator’s opponent has changed, and now, he will face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42.
Rhodes vs. Orton has been speculated to have more juice than Rhodes vs. McIntyre. Previously, reports had revealed that WWE was leaning towards Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu for WrestleMania 42, with The American Nightmare going up against The Apex Predator.
