Paul Heyman Calls Out WWE Over Brock Lesnar’s Retirement In Emotional RAW Promo
Paul Heyman almost broke down in tears on WWE RAW while addressing Brock Lesnar’s retirement.
Last night, The Beast Incarnate shockingly fell victim to The Ruler Oba Femi in the opening match on WrestleMania 42 Night Two. After the fight, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots and left them in the middle of the ring, signaling his wrestling retirement.
Although the Stamford-based company did not confirm the news last night, Michael Cole made the official announcement tonight on the red brand.
Paul Heyman Goes Off On WWE’s Production Team On RAW
Brock Lesnar’s legendary advocate, Paul Heyman, came out to the ring with The Vision tonight on RAW to address multiple issues. The first was The Beast Incarnate’s retirement.
The Hall of Famer mentioned that he had a speech prepared before he was thrown off by a major botch regarding Lesnar’s retirement by the production team. Heyman almost broke down in tears as he went off on the mic.
I had a whole speech prepared, but the beginning of this entire program threw me off a bit. You know, my favorite part of WrestleMania has always been expect the unexpected. And yesterday was a moment that was so unexpected, it will live inside my heart and I suggest in a lot of other people’s hearts for the rest of their lives.
And, yet, despite the fact that earlier tonight, Phil, CM Punk came out here and was kissing the a**es of all the people backstage and in the production truck and all the people behind the scenes and how great they are. This supposed greatest production team of all time, when they did the “Then, Now, and Forever,” still have my beast in the now.
So, the stupid b*tches in the truck and in the production team just can’t take the reality of what went down yesterday. So let me bestow upon you my wisdom. Please take him out of the Now and put him in the Forever because he’s not the now and he’ll forever be the baddest ***** that has ever been in a WWE ring. And that Beast’s name is Brock Lesnar.
