Paige Confirms Big Return In WWE: “Soon”
Paige made her surprise return to WWE on Night One of WrestleMania 42 on April 18, where she replaced an injured Nikki Bella to team up with Brie Bella and compete in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Fatal 4-Way match. The new duo of Paige and Brie Bella walked out as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions that night.
The new Women’s Tag Team Champions defended the titles on May 1 against the former champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, and retained the title. On the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Brie and Paige took on Giulia and Kiana James and came out victorious in a tag team bout.
Paige’s return to WWE has received a really positive response from the fans. The WWE Universe is very happy to see her back in the ring and delivering outstanding performances week after week.
That said, a fan on X asked The Anti Diva when she was going to bring her famous submission maneuver, PTO, back. The tweet caught her attention, and she replied by saying that it’ll happen “soon.”

Paige Confirms Retirement After Current WWE Run
Shortly after her return to WWE, Paige had a sit-down interview with Stephanie McMahon on the What’s Your Story podcast, where she opened up about her past and current WWE run. While talking about her return to WWE, she revealed that this might be her last run.
She stated that she wants to have as much fun as she can before hanging up her wrestling boots for good.Ā She added that before she rides off into the sunset, she would like to do everything she missed during her previous run, like participating in the Women’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches.
I came in this time with a mindset where I just want to be happy and have fun, because I donāt think Iām going to be wrestling after this run. I want to just enjoy my time that I have here, embrace absolutely everything, just enjoy the journey. Thatās all I care about. But I do want to finally be able to be in the Royal Rumble that I got to not be a part of and do the Elimination Chambers and do all these stipulation matches that were not around.
