Orange Cassidy has revealed he has a scar for life and has laid the blame firmly at the door of a fellow AEW star.

The New Jersey native has made a huge impact in AEW since debuting at the inaugural Double Or Nothing event on 25th May 2019 as a participant in the Casino Battle Royale.

The two-time AEW International Champion can count an appearance at AEW All In 2023 amongst his career highlights, where he teamed with Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo and Best Friends to defeat Ortiz and the Blackpool Combat Club in a brutal Stadium Stampede match.

The victory did not come without it’s sacrifices, with Cassidy on the receiving end of damage that will last a lifetime during the bout.

The 39 year-old described the story behind the lasting damage in a recent chat with Adrian Hernandez, revealing Jon Moxley as the perpetrator:

“It happened very fast. When I have my hands in my pockets in front of over 75,000 people, and then I turn around and a monster of a man is running at me with a fork and stabs me in a head.

I just went down and then I don’t really remember anything after that because I kind of went into another weird realm that I go into when I get angry.

I remember, after the fact, I had a huge fork gash in my head. He scarred me forever. There is a scar in my head forever because of Jon Moxley and a fork.”

Orange Cassidy Compared To WWE Hall Of Famer

Jon Moxley gained huge respect for Orange Cassidy after their storied rivalry and recently compared the reigning AEW International Champion to legendary WWE Hall Of Famer, Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart.
