Only One WWE Legend Ric Flair Could Face If He Wrestles Again

Earlier in February, several reports claimed that Ric Flair was considering wrestling again.

The news broke when he appeared at a live signing with K&S WrestleFest, where he claimed that someone wanted him to revive his feud with Ricky Morton from their time in the NWA.

He also claimed that he was thinking about it.

Since then, several former wrestlers and podcasters have had their say in watching The Nature Boy compete at 77 years old, with most advising caution. Rick Morton, on the other hand, is 69.

During a recent episode of The Stevie Richards Show, the former WWE star claimed there was no reason for Ric Flair to get back inside the squared circle. However, if he did, there was no better opponent than Ricky Morton.

Who would it be? God, I can’t think of anybody better that can still go and work around Ric and maybe the limitations he has than Ricky Morton. Ricky Morton’s a unicorn.

After his comments from the fest went viral, Ric Flair cleared the air by saying that he was never wrestling again.

Ricky Morton obviously got wind of Ric Flair’s comment because he took to his X account to say his piece.

As cool and exciting as it sounds, I’m going to have to pass on the idea of one more match vs. Ric Flair. Ric already had his last match, and it was an honor to be part of that show. Some moments don’t need a sequel. They need to be respected, remembered, and celebrated forever.

Over the last few years, Flair has battled multiple health issues and was even diagnosed with skin cancer for a second time last year.
