Ric Flair Considering Wrestling Again At 76
Ric Flair is the biggest example of never calling it quits
Ric Flair has come out of retirement and returned to wrestling so many times that no one takes the word “retirement” seriously coming from him.
The Nature Boy had an incredible career in the NWA in the 80s and then WWE and WCW in the 80s and 90s. The 16-time World Champion would go on to influence future stars like The Rock with his charisma, in-ring ability, and great promo skills.
As part of a recent live signing with K & S WrestleFest, his casual interaction with fans and organizers quickly became a hot topic as the conversation shifted to the possibility of him wrestling again.
Surprisingly, despite being 76, Flair is actually up for the task.
Ric Flair Teases Possibly Wrestling Again
As Flair continued to sign memorabilia, one host asked him the question that had been popping up in the live chat: Whether Flair would wrestle again.
To this, Flair responded positively with an opponent in mind: Ricky Morton. The people watching the live stream took his response and turned it into a breaking news headline. Flair mentioned that although nothing is locked in, he still wasn’t joking and would actually like to wrestle again.
Somebody wants me to wrestle Ricky Morton now.
Easily. Thinking about it.
Yeah. Not that far from—way off on financial terms, of course.
Sometimes I need something to motivate me, man. Just to go to the gym every day for nothing is…
