AEW’s Head Of Talent Relations: “AJ Styles Was And Is Always Elite”
This AEW name recently made a big statement about AJ Styles,
AJ Styles wrestled his final match in WWE at the Royal Rumble recently against Guther. Gunther, who WWE has now dubbed “The Career Killer,” added another feather to that cap by making Styles pass out from his deadly sleeperhold and retiring him.
With this, The Phenomenal One ended his decade-long career with the Stamford-based promotion. He was also responsible for putting TNA on the map, calling it “The House That AJ Built. But he was never a part of AEW.
AJ also took his gloves off after his match with Gunther, went ot keep them down in the ring but wore them back on again, leading fans to speculate whether he has more in his tank to give.
AEW Head of Talent Christopher Daniels Calls AJ Styles “Elite”
Christopher Daniels took to X to praise the Phenomenal AJ Styles as the curtain came down on his career.
In the post, he also cheekily adds, “AJ Styles was and is always elite”, something that’s said when a wrestler joins AEW( All Elite Wrestling). This little easter egg has the comments section going crazy speculationg that although Styles has retired from WWE, he could go on to wrestle with Tony Khan’s promotion if Daniels’ post has indeed provided a hint.
I’ve been quiet following @AJStylesOrg last match because I don’t think I can condense 25 years of emotions & experiences into 1 or 2 tweets. Nothing I type can fully express my love, respect, and appreciation for him. Regardless of what happens, AJ was and is always elite! ❤️

Although there’s no confirmation from Styles, it remains to be seen what happens next with the Phenomenal One. Until then, fans can listen to him talk about his career and retirement on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast where he has just done his first interview after his retirement.
