Femi has established himself as a legitimate threat on Monday Night Raw. The March 16 edition of Raw saw the return of Brock Lesnar, who came out to target Seth Rollins for his attack on Paul Heyman.
However, Lesnar was interrupted by Oba Femi, and in a shocking moment, Femi dropped Lesnar with a massive power bomb and pointed to the WrestleMania sign, officially answering Lesnar’s open challenge.
The following week, on March 23, Oba Femi confronted Brock Lesnar once again. After Paul Heyman delivered an intense promo in the middle of the ring, Femi appeared, and Lesnar attempted to hit an F5. However, Femi countered by clotheslining Lesnar out of the ring.
UFC Star Israel Adesanya Is Very Much Impressed With WWE Star Oba Femi
Over the past two weeks, Oba Femi has gone toe-to-toe with The Beast Incarnate and has even bested him on two different occasions.
His interactions with Lesnar have firmly placed him in the spotlight, and UFC star Israel Adesanya recently praised The Ruler for his current performance in the Stamford-based company, stating that Femi is the one carrying WWE right now.
“I really like the way he just moves. I like the way… he’s carrying the WWE right now. He’s the guy. He’s got that swagger. So shoutout to Femi. It’s not Oba, it’s Oba Femi. That’s the guy right now,” he said.
