OMG! Legendary Faction Makes Blockbuster In-Ring Debut In AEW
AEW Dynamite was off to an explosive start tonight as the night began with Jon Moxley and his Death Riders being involved in a brutal brawl in the parking lot of the promotion.
Moxley and his Death Riders were jumped by Will Ospreay, Alex Windsor, and the United Empire, and both groups reached the ringside arena while brawling with each other.
The Death Riders were heading back with their tails between their legs before Will Ospreay announced a huge tag team main event for the night – United Empire vs. Death Riders.
United Empire makes their AEW Dynamite in-ring debut tonight
This led to United Empire making their first in-ring appearance on AEW Dynamite tonight. United Empire had earlier appeared in All Elite Wrestling while Ospreay was still in NJPW.
However, this current iteration of the members is completely different from last time, making it the in-ring debut of Callum Newman, Henare, and Francesco Akira in AEW.
Both teams put on an amazing display of action on Dynamite tonight as the match became extremely brutal with multiple weapons used throughout the contest.
In the end, Will Ospreay connected with the Hidden Blade on Jon Moxley and put him through a table. He then pinned Mox, with some assistance from Callum Newman.
Post-match, The Aerial Assassin looked to make a statement by attacking Jon Moxley, but Claudio Castagnoli made the save.
