NXT Witnesses Growing Tension Between Sol Ruca and Zaria in TNA Title Match

The partnership between TNA and WWE NXT has seen both brands flourish ever since it came into existence at the beginning of last year. Many NXT stars have held TNA Championships in the past as well.

While Stacks is the only TNA champion signed to the WWE brand currently, two more superstars have the chance to achieve the same on tonight’s show, as the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships are on the line tonight.

The Elegance Brand won the belts from The IInspiration on TNA programming recently and are set to put them on the line tonight against Sol Ruca and Zaria after they won a triple threat number one contender’s match.

The Elegance Brand emerges victorious on WWE NXT

Both Ruca and Zaria were at loggerheads with each other before the match began, given Ruca’s rise as a singles competitor, which made Zaria feel a bit neglected.

Zaria fought the majority of the match by herself as she refused to tag Sol Ruca in, but she tagged herself in, and they were able to keep their differences aside to gain the momentum for themselves.

They came close to winning the belts as Ruca went for the Sol Snatcher, but incidentally, caught Zaria with it as The Elegance Brand pushed her ahead. Ash By Elegance, who was present at ringside, then took out Sol Ruca by sending her into the steel steps, as they retained the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships.
