NXT Star Wants To Stay On The Brand Ahead Of WWE Draft

NXT Womens Title Match

The WWE Draft is on the horizon and the company is making clear that every star is up for grabs but one NXT competitor will be quite happy staying put.

The Draft will have added significance following the 24th of April edition of Monday Night Raw when Triple H announced the return of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The brand that does not acquire WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the Draft will instead crown a new world champion.

While many fans might think that those in NXT are all hoping for a move to the main roster as a result of the Draft but that’s not true for everyone.

Speaking to Busted Open Radio Tiffany Stratton was asked for her favored destination following the upcoming WWE Draft but says she thinks it’s best that she stays put for the time being:

“I’m not sure. That’s a good question. I definitely think for my career, I would like to stay in NXT a little longer and hone in on my wrestling skills before getting called up. But if I do get the call up, I’m ready. I will make the most of it. I will rise to the occasion, and yeah, I’ll be ready.”

Stratton was recently involved in the ladder match for the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver which was won by Indi Hartwell.
