Nikki Bella Told She’s Not Allowed To Wrestle In WWE
Nikki Bella had a confession to make in a recent interview.
The WWE Hall of Famer has been active on WWE TV since her surprise return at the Royal Rumble in 2025, where she was the 30th woman to enter the gimmick match.
Nikki Bella was in the main event scene in the latter half of last year, feuding with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez.
Her twin sister, Brie Bella, then made her surprise return at Royal Rumble 2026, and the two announced the following week on Raw that they would be going back to competing as a tag team again.
Nikki Bella’s Son Doesn’t Want Her To Wrestle
In a recent interview with Access Daily, Nikki Bella opened up about how both she and her sister now have kids who are at an age where they understand their mothers’ professions, unlike before, when Brie’s daughter Birdie would be taken to WWE events, but wouldn’t remember much of what her mother was doing as she was too young.
Brie then shared a funny moment that she had with her son at home, where, after watching the Bella Twins cut a promo announcing their return to WWE, her son thought she would go and live at WWE instead of living at home.
Well it was funny because when they saw us doing that promo you just saw and I was like, ‘I’m finally home,’ my kids were like, ‘Wait, no she’s not. She’s not home.’ They were really worried that all of a sudden I was going to be staying the night at WWE forever, honestly.
Nikki added by sharing a light moment of her own, saying that her son tells her not to wrestle as he doesn’t like to see his mother get hit.
My son does not like to see me get hit. He doesn’t mind watching the other female wrestlers, but then when it comes to mommy he’s like, ‘No, you can’t wrestle. You’re not allowed to wrestle.
