Nikki Bella Reveals Truth About Relationship With Cooper DeJean

Nikki Bella can’t catch a break with questions about her relationship status.

The WWE Hall of Famer started dating Artem Chigvintsev, with their son born in 2020. They were married from 2022 before going their separate ways in 2024.

Since late last year, the 42-year-old has been linked to NFL star Cooper DeJean, who is 22 years old.

The rumors began circulating after she was spotted with the Philadelphia Eagles cornerback, even wearing a jersey with his name before strutting away ahead of a game.

Their social media interactions, which included a heart emoji, sparked further speculations.

Amid reports, Nikki Bella has claimed that she is single and has been enjoying the lifestyle. Elsewhere, DeJean recently appeared on the Pat McAfee show, where he downplayed the situation by saying, “I don’t think I have a public relationship.”

During a chat with Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier at a public event, Bella again found herself talking about her relationship status with Cooper DeJean.

Kevin Frazier: Eagles fans out there wanted to know what’s going on.

Bella: You’re talking about my good friend. There you go. Good friend.

Nikki Bella Recalls Awkward Backstage Interaction With John Cena

Nikki Bella and John Cena were a couple from 2012 to 2018.

They were engaged, with their wedding set to take place in May 2018. However, a month prior, they called off the engagement and canceled the wedding.

Cena has been married to Shay Shariatzadeh since October 2020.

Bella returned to WWE in June 2025, which was amid Cena’s retirement tour. While appearing on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, she detailed her awkward encounter backstage with Cena and even meeting his wife.

I mean, the first time, like, we hadn’t seen each other in so many years, so it was just like you didn’t know what to expect. So, I think I just…so yeah. And then it was fine. And then it was, like, normal, and I got to meet with his wife. After that, actually then I would talk to them both every time I saw them at TV and then it was like normal, but, of course, the first time, for sure.
