Nattie has her eyes set on championship gold on WWE Monday Night Raw.

Over the past year, the legendary Natalya has transformed into a more serious type of wrestler known as Nattie, which is the real first name of the future WWE Hall of Famer.

As the woman who has been on the WWE roster for nearly 20 consecutive years (longer than anybody else) and holds more Guinness World Records than anyone else, Nattie has an incredible legacy in WWE as a former 2-time Women’s Champion and Women’s Tag Team Champion.

This past week on the June 16th episode of NXT, Nattie showed she’s also happy to work with younger talent like Jaida Parker. The two women had a very physical match after weeks of trash talk, and the veteran Canadian won with her patented Sharpshooter. It was an incredible match, a reminder that Nattie brings out the best in her opponents. There could be more Nattie/Parker matches in the future, too.

Natte is also a part of the Raw brand, even though she hasn’t had a match on Raw since March 16th, when she beat Maxxine Dupri.

During the recent Queen of the Ring tournament, Nattie wasn’t even in a qualifying match, which upset many of her fans.

In a recent interview with The A2theK Wrestling Show, Nattie spoke about conversations she’s had with WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, about wanting to write a book (which she did) and how she had championship aspirations.

“Yeah, there’s a lot that I want to do. I want to be a champion again in WWE. There’s many championships that I have not won.

And it’s funny because when I signed my new contract a couple years ago… I expressed very much that I have big dreams, big goals. And I told Triple H, I said ‘I want to write a book, I want to do big things.’ I said, ‘I have a very huge appetite for growing and in order to keep doing all this I have to keep growing.’ And I expressed very much that I wanted to be a champion again, and I’ve never ever lost that feeling. And that’s why I’ve never stopped being hungry.”

Nattie Would Love To Challenge Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca

The Intercontinental Title was a major accomplishment that Nattie’s uncles, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, and Davey Boy Smith, all won in their legendary careers. Nattie spoke about that family legacy involving the IC Title.

“Prior to this, there wasn’t that Women’s IC Title and there wasn’t the Women’s US Championship. Those are two championships I would love to get my hands on. Because I think they’re special. When I think of the Men’s IC Title I think of Bret Hart, I think of Mr. Perfect, I think of the workhorses, Shawn Michaels, the workhorses of the men, legendary men that had that championship.”

Regarding the current Women’s IC Champion, Sol Ruca, Nattie praised her as so cool and reminded her of the future Hall of Famer Jeff Hardy. While praising Ruca, Nattie also made it clear she would love to hold that Women’s IC Title.

“I think, ‘man, I would love to be an IC Champion.’ So I would love to start a fight with Sol Ruca. I think she is so cool and I think that she is so different and she kind of reminds me of Jeff Hardy, but like girl version.

She’s got such an it factor to her and I think the one thing that she’s never, with her wrestling an her styles, her style is so different than mine. But I think I could see us making some magic in the ring and I would absolutely love to do a rivalry against her.

She could bring her high-flying style to me and I could bring the grit from The Dungeon to her, and I think I could put her through her biggest test yet, especially as champion. She does have something I want very much.”

A matchup between Ruca and Nattie would certainly be fun to watch, so it remains to be seen if WWE sets up a feud between them.
