MJF’s Next World Title Match Not Happening In AEW
MJF is set to put the AEW World Championship on the line against a very controversial wrestling star, but the match won’t happen in Tony Khan’s ring.
MJF recaptured the AEW Men’s World Championship back at Worlds End 2025 when he dethroned Samoa Joe in a four-way match that included Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland.
The Salt of the Earth held onto his title by the skin of his teeth at Grand Slam Australia when he defeated Brody King, but it seems King is not down with the AEW World Champion by any stretch. Adam Page is also waiting on MJF after Page defeated Andrade El Idolo in Australia as well. Page will get his chance to win the top male title in AEW at Revolution, but it remains to be seen if MJF will still be holding the gold by then.

Zilla Fatu – a real-life member of the Anoa’i wrestling dynasty – recently caused controversy with comments directed at GCW owner Brett Lauderdale. Lauderdale responded, noting that behaviour such as Fatu’s was the reason that he was not on WWE television with his family and was still competing on the indies.
