MJF Sends Stark Warning Ahead Of AEW In-Ring Return
MJF is all business ahead of his first match since December 2023.
After five months out of action, MJF made his triumphant return to AEW at Double or Nothing. The star used the appearance to get revenge on Adam Cole, who led the United Kingdom in a beatdown of the former AEW World Champion at Worlds End back in December.
With The Devil off his back, Friedman returned to Dynamite on June 5th and cut a scathing promo that saw him take aim at several of the company’s biggest stars. He was cut off by Rush, which led to the pair trading insults before El Toro Blanco attacked Friedman, with the pair eventually being pulled apart by Christopher Daniels and security.
Following the incident, Rush sent a message to AEW on social media, telling the company to let Friedman “face a true luchador” and promising that nothing could save him from the beatdown he would deliver.
With Rush being advertised for a match on June 12th, MJF responded to his threats by telling him not to turn up to the show, saying it was a “friendly warning.” It has been reported that MJF will face Rush at Forbidden Doorin his first match since December.
Don’t show up for your match on Wednesday.
Friendly warning. https://t.co/YETo0rfzVY
