Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson gave his thoughts on his upcoming return to All Elite Wrestling this Friday on AEW Rampage!

Last week, AEW announced that legendary boxer and WWE Hall of Famer Mike Tyson would be making his return to All Elite Wrestling on the November 4th episode. Tyson will serve as guest commentator for the show. This marks the boxer’s fifth appearance for the company, first appearing at AEW Double or Nothing in 2020. AEW Rampage is set to emanate from Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ, the venue where Tyson first fought in 1987.

Ahead of his appearance, Mike Tyson issued a statement to AEW, noting his excitement at having the honor to commentate the show.

“It’s always good to return to Atlantic City. I grew up as a wrestling fan so to be a special guest commentator for AEW this Friday is an honor. You never know what to expect when I’m a special guest so tune in.”

AEW President Tony Khan also spoke about Tyson’s upcoming appearance, saying that fans will see a different side of the performer in the commentary booth.

“We love having Mike Tyson on our shows and now fans will get a chance to see a different side of Mike in AEW as he steps into our commentary booth for the first time alongside the incredible team of Jim Ross, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone. I’m excited for everyone in Atlantic City, and for those watching on TNT and around the world, to see what Mike has in store for us. AEW is firing on all cylinders right now and adding Iron Mike to the mix elevates everyone’s game even further.”
