Mick Foley Sends Heartfelt Message To Injured WWE Star
Mick Foley has offered warm words of support for an injured WWE star.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has suffered more than an injury or two during his illustrious wrestling career but now he’s offering support to a current WWE star going through a tough time.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sonya Deville looks to be out of action for several months following an ACL injury that required surgery. Given the nature of the injury, it is believed that she and Chelsea Green will be forced to vacate their title that they only won on the 17th of July edition of Raw.
Deville’s injury deepens WWE’s current injury worries which also sees Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Liv Morgan, Kevin Owens, and possibly even Sami Zayn on the shelf alongside long-term absentees such as Randy Orton and Big E.
Mick Foley took to Instagram to offer encouragement to Sonya Deville as she starts the recovery process following her injury:
“BEST WISHES FOR SONYAMan, this one hurts… I am a huge fan of @sonyadevillewwe’s tag team with @chelseaagreen and they were just getting started on what would have been an incredible run as @wwe tag team champions. More than that, Sonya is a great person and wrestler, and truly deserves the best. I hate seeing anyone get dealt such a rough hand, especially when they are doing so well — but I know she’ll be back and better than ever soon.”

It remains unknown how long Deville is likely to be out of action for but one report gave an indication of a timeframe for her return based on other wrestling stars that have suffered the same injury.
