Mercedes Mone’s AEW Status Finally Revealed
Mercedes Mone had vowed to return to AEW to get back at her enemies, and now it looks like she will be making her return to the ring soon.
At one point in 2025, Mercedes Mone held 13 different titles across various wrestling promotions.
She began to lose most of those belts in the latter half of the year and finally lost her TBS Title to Willow Nightingale.
In an in-ring party following the win, Willow, along with members of The Power, invited Mone to celebrate with them, but a livid Mone threw a major tantrum, leading them to attack her with cake before Willow powerbombed her.
In a vignette on January 10’s Collision episode, Mone can be seen saying that she will come back for more than just titles.

On IL61, Mercedes was asked about her AEW return.
Mone said that she will be returning really soon after she’s done with her “Mone Madness” tour of Europe.
I’m returning really, really soon. Right now, I am on my Mone Madness Tour all over Europe. First it started in Mexico, now here in Italy, next stop is Paris, then London, then Poland, then Winnipeg. After that, Mama is gonna return home.
Mercedes is set to defend the WPW Women’s Championship at WPW Fight at the Museum in Winnipeg on March 31. AEW will be in Winnipeg for AEW Dynamite on April 1, so it looks likely that Mone will make an appearance on that episode.
