Mercedes Mone is now without a single title belt from any of the wrestling promotions she has worked with.

Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks in WWE) has had a rough few months to say the least.

The CEO of women’s wrestling, who once held 13 titles across multiple promotions, is now without a single one, having either lost or vacated them.

Some notable titles she held included the AEW TBS Championship, the ROH Women’s TV Championship, the CMLL World Women’s Championship, and multiple other titles across European, North American, and Asian promotions.

Mercedes Mone is under contract with AEW and last wrestled in the Tony Khan-led promotion when she battled Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship and lost it.

After suffering a meltdown amidst Nightingale’s celebration of her title win, The Power faction and Nightingale attacked Mone and left her a cake-smeared mess in the ring. Mone later vowed to exact revenge on her perpetrators, but only once she returns to AEW after a brief hiatus.

The hiatus was because she had set off on her Mone Madness Tour of Europe.

She has now vacated the last title she held, the APAC Women’s Championship, a Malaysian title, after talks with the promotion fell through.

Mercedes Mone Vacates The Last Title Belt She Was Holding

In her latest Mone Mag, Mercedes Mone talks about having to send the APAC Title back because the Malaysian promotion didn’t have the budget to fly her out.

A Tough Decision
While I was in London, I had to make a tough call.
I sent the Malaysia Championship back.

My team and I really tried to make things work—we put in the effort, had the conversations, and explored every option. But at the end of the day, they told us they didn’t have the budget to fly me out and weren’t open to working with other promotions.
For me?
That just didn’t align with the vision.
So I made the decision to vacate the title.

And look—this business isn’t always easy. Not every partnership works out the way you hope. But I’ve learned to stand firm in my worth, my time, and what I bring to the table.

Every title I hold means something.
Every move I make has purpose.
So even though it wasn’t easy, it was necessary.
Because growth sometimes means letting go.

Trust me…
I’m always moving forward.

Mercedes is now left with one title, the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Championship. This is a title that represents her victory in the annual tournament and is not a regularly defended title belt.
