Mercedes Mone Receives Message From Triple H Ahead Of NJPW Debut
Ahead of her in-ring debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Mercedes Mone has revealed she has received a message from WWE CCO Triple H.
Mercedes Mone made headlines around the world when she made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January where she attacked the current IWGP Women’s Champion KAIRI. Mone will compete in an NJPW ring for the first time at Battle In The Valley where she will challenge KAIRI for that title.
In a video shared online, an emotional Mercedes Mone revealed she received text messages from both Triple H and William Regal before she embarks on the next stage of her career:
“Also at midnight, I got a very nice text from Triple H. Still it’s crazy and I got an amazing text from William Regal this morning…”
WOW!!! Mercedes got a text from Triple H himself and a text from William Regal all supporting her. Literally two of the head bosses in charge right now in WWE. Amazing. pic.twitter.com/pHTjh81Hpb

Mone was of course formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE where she was a key part of NXT that was overseen by both Regal and Triple H before she graduated to the main roster. During her time in the company, she captured the NXT, Raw, and SmackDown Women’s Championships and was one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions along with Naomi when both women walked out of the company in May 2022.
