Megastar Campaigned To Lose Huge WWE SummerSlam Match

WWE SummerSlam 2025 was a blockbuster event for the year.

Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll was the celebrity performer at SummerSlam.

He paired up with Randy Orton for a tag team match against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.

Jelly Roll campaigned to lose at WWE SummerSlam

WWE Unreal season 2 focused on the happenings of 2025, such as Becky Lynch’s return at WrestleMania, her feud with Lyra Valkyria, R-Truth’s release and return, John Cena’s Farewell Tour, among others.

One of the focuses was the celebrity match at SummerSlam 2025. During season 2 episode 5, The Pop, Roll revealed that he was campaigning to lose the match because it was about a man who was not qualified to be there.

I was campaigning to lose cause we were also trying to clearly tell the story of a man who was not qualified to be in there.

In fact, Jelly Roll had revealed the same after SummerSlam as well. He had claimed that celebrities usually walk away with the victory in such premium live events. He wanted it to be different and wanted the celebrity in question to lose the match.

Furthermore, Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre are top superstars. It wouldn’t line up that Jelly Roll and Randy Orton defeated WWE’s top heels.
