Maxxine Dupri Makes Personal Confession: “I Waited 7 Years For This”
Maxxine Dupri recently made a confession about her personal life.
Dupri debuted on the WWE main roster in July 2022 as the sister of Max Dupri, who was later repackaged as LA Knight.
She was later added to the Alpha Academy stable alongside Otis and Chad Gable. She slowly transitioned into a wrestler but did not achieve much success.
In April 2025, the 28-year-old star also aligned herself with WWE legend Natalya, who later called themselves “The Dungeon Dolls.”
Under her tutelage, she became the one-time Women’s Intercontinental Champion by defeating Becky Lynch on the November 17 taping of Raw. Her title reign lasted a mere 49 days, with Lynch retaining her title.
Shortly afterward, Natalya, who was repackaged into Nattie, turned on Maxxine Dupri by attacking her during her rematch for the IC title on January 19, 2026.
Since then, the former stablemates have been involved in a heated feud, with both getting the best of each other on multiple occasions.
Dupri has often attacked Natalya at the entrance, which was a theme again on the March 9 taping of the red brand.
Maxxine Dupri Reveals Secret About Engagement Ring
In 2024, Maxxine Dupri got engaged to her WWE boyfriend and NXT star Anthony Luke, with whom she had been since 2018.
Luke was part of a WWE tryout before SummerSlam in 2023, and he made his in-ring debut for the company in May 2024.
The couple got married on December 31, 2025, in Naples, Florida, with several colleagues in attendance.
Dupri recently was a guest on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, where she shared a secret about her engagement ring.
The conversation drifted to Dupri’s life before WWE, when she was an NFL cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams.
Majlak joked that she could always sell her engagement ring to make money. To this, Maxxine Dupri replied:
I could never. I love this. I waited for this for seven years, you know? [8:09 onwards]
