Matt Hardy wants to take the feud between The Hardy Boyz and The Young Bucks to new heights.

The Hardy Boyz and The Young Bucks have gone head to head in tag team action on a number of occasions, with two of those bouts taking place in All Elite Wrestling. While Matt and Jeff Hardy were victorious at the 2022 edition of Double or Nothing, it was Matt and Nick Jackson who emerged victorious during their most recent bout on the August 9th episode of Dynamite.

Speaking on the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt opened up about the two teams having great chemistry in the ring and said they’ll likely have more matches down the road.

“Any time we hook up with the Bucks, I feel like we have really good chemistry, we make magic happen. We have quality matches and I feel very good about tonight, excited for it. I know I said I definitely had another match with the Bucks left, but I think we have many, many matches with the Bucks left. I think there is still plenty of meat on the bone as far as a Hardys-Young Bucks conflict going forward.”

Matt Hardy Wants A Hardy Boyz Vs. Young Bucks Ladder Match

During their rise to prominence in WWE, Matt and Jeff Hardy became well known for their daredevil performances in highly-acclaimed ladder matches. When a fan watching Matt’s show asked about a potential ladder match between the Hardyz and the Bucks, he responded:

“I think there is a point where we could get to a Hardys/Young Bucks ladder match, I would love to do that.”

The two teams last fought in a ladder match back in 2017 at ROH Supercard of Honor, just one night before making their surprise returns to WWE at WrestleMania 33.
