One of the event’s spectacles is the Team Briscoe vs. Team MJF match inside a steel cage. Both teams will contain 6 members each. According to the stipulation, if Briscoe’s team beats MJF & Co., Briscoe will earn an AEW World Championship match.

The internal belief is that Swerve Strickland vs. Will Ospreay is planned as the main event tonight at Forbidden Door.

Ospreay and Strickland were last seen sharing the ring on Dynamite in a non-wrestling segment, which ended in a physical confrontation between them.
