An injured WWE star revealed whether they have retired at the age of 35.

Piper Niven officially joined WWE in 2019. Over the past seven years, she competed on NXT, Monday Night RAW, and SmackDown, winning the Women’s Tag Team Championship and the WWE 24/7 Title.

However, the former member of Chelsea Green’s Secret Hervice suffered a serious neck injury last September and has been out of action ever since. Niven recently shared an update on her injury six weeks post-surgery, revealing that “everything is fusing nicely.”

Piper Niven Has Not Retired From WWE

Despite her absence, Piper Niven sparked major controversy after commenting on a social media post from Jade Cargill in which The Storm praised her execution of a Black Hole Slam on Tiffany Stratton last night at Night of Champions.

Niven branded the execution “sloppy” and gave it a five-out-of-ten rating. She also appeared to insinuate that Cargill cared more about looking good than the safety of her opponents. She then followed with another post, tagging The Storm.

🥹 know what warms my heart? After all we’ve been through, @Jade_Cargill paying homage to me and keeping my moves alive in the ring. 👏 You’re a real one sis. 🫶🏻 Once I relearn how to use my right arm again, I will show you how to transfer their weight so you get the pin next time.

When a fan pointed out that the move belonged to Abyss, Niven replied that the current WWE producer had retired and had given her permission to use it. Another fan then asked her whether she had retired as well, which she quickly denied.
