Major Star Set For AEW Debut (Spoiler)

AEW logo over roster

The March 6th episode of Dynamite looks to be a huge moment in the history of AEW.

Following Sting’s retirement, Tony Khan has promised that AEW is stepping into a bold new era, and they’re doing so in a huge way. A new logo for AEW Dynamite has already been revealed, while a new set will also debut on March 6th.

Interestingly, it seems that won’t be the only debut at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia. According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Kazuchika Okada travelled to Los Angeles last week and he’s still in the United States. Sources in Japan expect the star to make his full AEW debut on Dynamite.

The news comes after it was reported there had been talks about Okada appearing on March 6th. Speaking ahead of Revolution, Tony Khan said he was very excited about something coming in Atlanta.

New AEW Dynamite Set Revealed

The report comes after the first images of the new AEW Dynamite set were made public. While commenting on the set, which will see the return of the tunnels from the original 2019 set up, Tony Khan said fans would get to see “new stars.”

It could be the case that Khan was hinting at Okada’s impending arrival.

Kazuchika Okada has been a free agent since the end of January after the legend let his NJPW contract expire. The star wrestled his final match for the promotion on February 24th.
