Major Change To WWE Title Match Due To Injury

There has been a major change to one WWE title match due to injury.

Seth Rollins was forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship on WWE Raw after he suffered an apparent injury during his Crown Jewel match with Cody Rhodes.

However, it’s The Vision that is getting the blame for Rollins’ injury after Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman all betrayed Rollins the prior week.

That title will have a new champion at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st when Jey Uso clashes with CM Punk for the vacant gold.

Injury Causes WWE Title Match Change

On SmackDown, Zaria and Sol Ruca challenged Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. While Flair and Bliss retained, there was worse news for Ruca as she appeared to suffer an injury during the bout.

Now, on the October 21st edition of NXT, Sol Ruca has addressed her status, appearing on crutches as she revealed that she’d be unable to defend her NXT Women’s North American Title against Blake Monroe at Halloween Havoc.

Monroe immediately demanded to be handed the title, but Zaria stepped in, saying that she’d take Ruca’s place at Halloween Havoc and defend the title on her behalf. It remains to be seen what will happen with the WWE Women’s Speed Championship, which is also currently held by Sol Ruca.
