Major AEW World Championship Match Announced For Next Week

Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite has been shaping up to be a huge episode for the fans, with some huge matches being made official for the episode in Austin, Texas.

The AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander, last defended her title against Julia Hart at the World’s End PPV last year and hasn’t been involved in singles action since.

She teamed with the Babes of Wrath last week on Dynamite Maximum Carnage, but was defeated by the Triangle of Madness as Thekla pinned the Women’s World Champion.

Kris Statlander set to defend the AEW Women’s World Championship

Thekla used their win in the trios match last week to her advantage and challenged Statlander for a match for the AEW Women’s World Championship on next week’s episode of Dynamite.

The champion didn’t back down from the challenge and accepted the match, which was later made official by Tony Khan for an episode of Dynamite, which will feature two other title matches as well.
