Logan Paul has opened up on why he signed a long-term deal with WWE and says he is excited for the journey.

At the end of June, WWE announced that Logan Paul had signed a multi-year deal with the company on their social media channels and website while Paul also shared it on his social media outlets.

More details on Logan Paul’s contract were provided by Ariel Helwani of BT Sport who noted that the deal is for an “undisclosed number of premium live events across 2022 and 2023.”

The first of these events appeared to be revealed on the latest edition of Raw. The YouTube star appeared in a video message on the show to make his intentions clear that he wants to take on his one-time tag team partner, The Miz, at Summerslam.

Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul discussed why he made the decision to sign a long-term contract with the company. The star says that, while right now he is excited for the journey, he knows that WWE can also be a “powerful launch pad” for his future. However, he acknowledged that he will need to show up and work hard..

“I’m excited for this journey and I am well aware of how powerful of a launch pad it can be for whatever I want to do in life. Besides this show, my visibility online is not a lot. I’m not uploading on my main channel ever. I do this show every week and I do this and that, but WWE is a good opportunity for me to leverage one of the biggest brands in the world for my own, should I show up. Should I work hard.”
