Liv Morgan Claps Back At Tom Brady: “Football’s Cute”

Tom Brady recently poked the bear by calling professional wrestling “cute.”

It rubbed wrestlers the wrong way, with several WWE superstars, including Liv Morgan, dragging Brady into their conversations, with some even challenging him to experience the grind firsthand.

This is not the first time a non-wrestling personality has called the sport ‘fake’ or something similar, and it won’t be the last.

Brady’s comment came during an appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, where they discussed athleticism ahead of a flag football event in Saudi Arabia.

While putting forward his point, the retired NFL star said, “It’s cute, I love WWE. It’s very cute. But this is real football. This is real competition.

It prompted the likes of CM Punk, Oba Femi, Paul Heyman, and Drew McIntyre to say their piece in retaliation.

Some fans even speculated whether the “feud” was actually a kayfabe way to promote the upcoming flag football match.

Liv Morgan Shuts Down Tom Brady

After winning the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan is set to reveal her preferred champion that she would face at WrestleMania 42 in a segment on the upcoming episode of WWE Raw.

But before, she appeared for a quick-fire chat on the Going Ringside podcast, where she addressed different topics.

Host Scott Johnson asked Liv Morgan about her thoughts on Tom Brady’s comments about WWE.

While the 31-year-old wrestler admitted hearing his comments, she claimed that she did not pay much heed to them.

I think I might have read about it here and there, but I did not pay any mind to it because although a lot of people in WWE are cute, there’s so much more to WWE than I think people understand and realize.

And no disrespect to any sport out there, but I feel like you can take a WWE star and perhaps put them on the football field and they will make it do. We will get it done.

She then dared the football fraternity to take a crack at wrestling for a change.

But can you take a football star and put them in a WWE ring and can they do everything that we do? I don’t know. I don’t know about that.

So, you know, I think football is actually kind of cute. I think football’s cute. [H/T: Ringside News]
