LA Knight’s WWE WrestleMania Plans Hinges On Megastar’s Call

According to recent reports, LA Knight’s WrestleMania 42 spot depends heavily on a megastar.

Knight has been helping The Usos in their rivalry against The Vision for some time. On the March 23, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw, The Usos defended their World Tag Team Championship against The Vision.

During the match, Logan Paul tried to use his signature brass knuckles, but LA Knight interfered, took them away, and threw them to Jey Uso. Jey used them in front of the referee, which caused The Vision to win by disqualification. Hence, there was no title change.

On the March 30 edition of Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden, The Usos and The Vision faced off again in a Street Fight for the World Tag Team Championship. Logan Paul once again tried to use underhanded tactics, but Knight came to the rescue.

During the chaos, IShowSpeed picked up Logan Paul’s brass knuckles and accidentally hit LA Knight, knocking him out cold. This distraction allowed Austin Theory and Logan Paul to capitalize and pin The Usos to become the new World Tag Team Champions.

WWE Is Planning To Include LA Knight In A Trios Match At WrestleMania 42

Clearly, WWE is building a storyline where IShowSpeed will be involved in The Vision’s rivalry against The Usos and LA Knight.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently provided an update, stating that WWE is planning a trios match featuring The Usos and LA Knight against The Vision and Speed.

However, if Speed isn’t ready to compete at WrestleMania 42, Knight could be relegated to a ringside role, keeping him away from the in-ring action.

If Speed isn’t ready, they could do a tag match with Knight and Speed in the corners but right now, it’s the trios match that is on the match listing.

Speed had previously wrestled at the 2025 Royal Rumble. He was an impromptu replacement for Akira Tozawa after Carmelo Hayes attacked Tozawa during the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H found IShowSpeed in the Gorilla Position and ordered him to take the open spot. Speed entered the match and teamed up with Bron Breakker to eliminate Otis before being taken out by a devastating spear from Breakker and thrown out of the ring.
