Kurt Angle Says Mae Young Told Him To “Spike The S**t” Out Of Her
WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has reflected on the toughness of Mae Young who once told Angle that she wanted to “f*cking feel it” when he slammed her in the ring.
For some the glory days of WWE were cheering for Hulkamania, for others, it was growing up loving John Cena and slowly turning to the “Cena sucks” side the older you got. But for many it was the Attitude Era – a time where it was anything goes in WWE.
On The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic gold medallist has recalled one such ‘anything goes’ incident when he gave the eighty-year-old – and somehow supposedly pregnant – Mae Young his patented Angle Slam in the ring. Something Kurt Angle adds she was all too eager to take:
“That night before the match she came up to me and she said, ‘Hey, I want you to spike the sh*t out of me, I want you to slam me as hard as you can. I want to f*cking feel it!’ My god, this lady wants me to spike her as hard as I can, she wanted me to Angle Slam her as hard as I could.”
“She never shied down to any bump that she had to take, she always followed through.”
