Tony Khan Questionable For NFL Draft After AEW Assault

Tony Khan NFL Jacksonville Jaguars

Tony Khan got physical on AEW Dynamite and now the NFL has reported that his obligations at the NFL Draft are up in the air.

On Dynamite in Jacksonville, The Young Bucks used their position as EVPs to broker a meeting between Tony Khan and Jack Perry so the AEW boss could officially reinstate Perry to the company but suspicions should have been raised when that meeting took place in the ring.

After Perry and Tony Khan shook hands on the deal, Perry raised Khan’s hand before delivering a vicious microphone shot into Khan’s gut. The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada raced to the ring wondering what Perry was thinking before The Bucks hoisted Khan up for the recently re-named TK Driver.

The Elite were eventually shouted out of the ring by referees and after they left, many stars of the AEW roster came to the ring showing concern for their boss. Among those who appeared in the ring was Khan’s father Shad Khan. Khan looked concerned for his son as the show went off the air.

NFL Has Its Say On Tony Khan’s AEW Attack

Incredibly, now the NFL has reported on the AEW angle given Khan’s role at the Jacksonville Jaguars. The NFL has noted that Tony Khan’s NFL Draft obligations are now “questionable” with the draft set to kick off on the 25th of April.

Tony Khan was selling the injury on a closed AEW set, so it remains to be seen if he will have a neck brace on if he appears at the NFL Draft.
